Carnival. A celebration of remote origins, an opportunity to give life to our fantasies, thanks to the art of disguise.
Especially in Italy, the Carnival is one of the most popular festivals and there are many people from the city known for this event.
Today I want to talk about a special event, the Ballo del Doge, a long night of fun, glitz, luxury and fashion.
Every year since 1994, Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice is the setting for this exclusive party, a great show halfway between dream and reality.
Beautiful clothes, which I define as true works of art, a special dedicated to haute couture carnival of Venice, created largely by Antonia Sautter , creator of the dance and attending the event in all respects.
A series of feathers, tullt, sequins, jewels, rich fabrics and richly decorated, the guests at the event are carefully selected by the organizer, and is required to use the custom theme, as each year the dance has a different theme. Last year the theme was "Dreams Seven 7 Seven Deadly Sins" inspired by the seven deadly sins, Palazzo Pisani Moretta has been transformed for the occasion in a Dante's scenario, each floor was one scenario, from hell to heaven, for this carnival, however, the theme is the magic of life and beauty, and esoteric astrology .
So, every year the lucky guests are immersed in a whole new story, made of Sparkling decorations, magnificent floral arrangements, and the elegant gala dinners.
